37th Annual
Greater Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade
11:00 am


Greater Hartford’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at Capitol Avenue by the State Capitol, takes a left on Main Street, a left on Asylum Street, a left on Ford Street and ends by the Memorial Arch. The parade is organized by the Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Committee. The parade will be held rain or shine. Parking is available in various lots and garages near the XL Center area and the Connecticut Convention Center. For information, call Eileen Moore at 860-232-7103.

P.V. O’Donnell’s “Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration” at St. Joseph College (1678 Asylum Avenue, West Hartford) 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm

Memorable songs and stories of Erin combine for a traditional evening of joy that is St. Patrick's Day. This performance of all that is Irish will be presented by P.V. O’Donnell - known for his traditional Donegal Ireland fiddle music, and a large ensemble of musicians, singers and dancers! All tickets for the 2:00 pm senior citizen matinee are $15, and all tickets for the 6:00 pm. show are $25. After the evening show, the Wood ‘N Tap Bar & Grill (999 Sisson Avenue) will host an “afterglow” with a chance to socialize with the performers

 Annual Archbishop’s Saint Patrick’s Day Breakfast at the Connecticut Convention Center (100 Columbus Blvd., Hartford)

The Most Reverend Henry Mansell, Archbishop of Hartford, will hold his annual Irish breakfast, featuring great food and Irish themed entertainment by students from area Catholic schools. Mr. Donald “Dee” Rowe, Special Advisor-UCONN Athletics, will inspire the attendees as this year’s keynote speaker. Proceeds will benefit Catholic schools in the Hartford Archdiocese.
